The art of cosplay was a university project in which I was tasked with creating a sixty second long documentary on the theme of identity. I chose to explore identity through self expression and interviewed two people who partake in the hobby of cosplay. I planned, filmed and edited the documentary over the course of three days. I carefully planned my scenes throughout filming day making sure the final scene could feature the view of the city with the sunset as I knew it would provide an interesting backdrop and a chance to see the cosplayers costumes in action.
